[..YouTube..] Could you please do a tutorial like this, but for making instrumentals? Thanks :)
[..YouTube..] @RaheemdaplayaO4 don't worry I sussed it, I had to press shift as well
[..YouTube..] Is there something I'm missing? when I try and group them, whilst pressing ctrl it doesn't work, it'll just group one of them :S
[..YouTube..] My song has harmonies still in it when we turn down that filter 1? What do I do :S
[..YouTube..] This is great. Thanks for doing it
Gotta say though I wish someone would just do it for me, I'm so lazy :L
[..YouTube..] @wrathallll WOOOT! this video IS quite epic. Just upped my ableton game ten fold. AWESOME JOB VESPERS!!!!!!!
[..YouTube..] @Oxymoron808 oh i see. ive been using fl for almost 2 years now and know almost everything about it. But i hear so many great things about ableton live. But what makes it so good and popular? Because ive never seen a feature that ableton had that fl doesnt. or vice versa. I think you should make a video about why you like ableton live so that you can give insight to fairly new producers like me!
[..YouTube..] @AndreDeSatterlee It has everything you need. if you are new to producing, start off with something like fl. Ableton utilises the great things from just about every daw and more. it has a balance of everything. its hard to use at first, but if ur a quick learner u will pick up the basics pretty easy, there are also heaps of tuts like this to show you how to use it. Dadalife, Deadmau5, Skrillex, David guetta, Flux Pavilion and many other EDM producers use it.
[..YouTube..] i would pay for htese lessons man, thanks for keeping them free, i will defs share this video with m yother producing people
[..YouTube..] Dude your a Genius, I've only been producing for year now with ableton, (most sophisticated and creative program ever) but this definitely was s useful tool for many upcoming ideas. And I have a legitimate question. I am a current comm entertainment major and want to continue producing and I was considering going to school to get an audio engineering degree once I'm done with my BA. Would this be useful and worth the cash If I'm completely serious about continuing independently or with a label
[..YouTube..] Hey all! Im a beginner with all this stuff and im struggling to find my multiband dynamics plugin, ive looked all over live devices on my live 8 software and its just not there. Where can i get this plugin because i would like to complete this tutorial :(
[..YouTube..] Nice tutorials man...I just wanna knw one thing...which song is this..??..it has got awesome lyrics....
[..YouTube..] When you sent me that vid, I thought it was an old one from your archives.
I checked the date and it blew my mind!
I seriously cannot thank you enough.
I mean, it's nice to see someone sharing the ability to make music with others. Saves us looking at the really famous artists and going 'I wish I could do that.'
Because of people like you, we can.
So thanks.
[..YouTube..] @ireepheelin You can't prevent but you can correct. That's why there's an output gain control on the EQ8. Just gain it up after you cut. Cheers!
[..YouTube..] Dry/Wet may not work as "expected" in some cases if the multi-band crossover points aren't linear phase.
[..YouTube..] These are awesome techniques. Have you ever extracted an acapella using an instrumental and that phase reversal trick?
[..YouTube..] dj vesper why do you use ableton and why do you prefer it over other daws such as fl studio reason, or logic? is because one is better or does it just come down to personal preference?
[..YouTube..] @MuzikAuto Nice one. Yeah, I ignored this feature for a long time but I love it now.
[..YouTube..] @ireepheelin Can't, you're cutting frequencies. That's why the EQ8 has an output gain parameter. Gain it up a bit and you'll be all good :)
[..YouTube..] When I adjust the Freq on the Mids I lose a significant amount of volume. How can this be avoided?
p.s. Big ups to you. Thanks bro.
[..YouTube..] What up, Vesper? I'm in Van, too! Thanks for the vids, very informative.
[..YouTube..] You saved my years of work...trying to figure out how to create acapellas in live...tx a lot vesper :)
[..YouTube..] Great tutorial, Brohams. I am pleased there are producers out there that will touch basis on advanced production techniques. Kudos Vespers. Keep up the good work, mate.
[..YouTube..] Great tutorial. Another way to get varied but usually good results is to use the Utility plugin > "difference" preset.
[..YouTube..] have you tried making tuts like sonic academy 'how to make' different genres of music? I think that with your knowledge you could cover a lot of ground that is usual missed out on a lot of these tutorials. the explanation of comps. eqs, limiters etc... i find that ableton gives a great opportunity to make music but also makes it easier for people to miss what comps. limiters etc...actually do. make sense? anyway great job as usual
[..YouTube..] hey mate, great tut. good choice of song and awesome knowledge on the process and power of eq'in which i think is very underrated.
[..YouTube..] Awesome vid as usual.
May I make a requst though? Could you spend some time on stripping the vocals out and leaving everything else in? I've tried just using a band reject filter and I find that I can't isolate enough of the signal without loosing too many other mids. Is pulling out the vocals and doing phase cancellation the right choice?
